১৯৭৫/৭৬ চন মানৰ কথা ৷ দৈনিক অসমৰ সাহিত্য প্ৰতিযোগিতাত প্ৰথম পুৰষ্কাৰ পোৱা গল্প এটি শাৰদীয় সংখ্যাত ছপা হৈছিল ৷ সেই সময়ত অামাক সন্মোহিত কৰি ৰাখিছিল ভবেন্দ্ৰ নাথ শইকীয়া, সৌৰভ কুমাৰ চলিহা, লক্ষীনন্দন বৰা, চন্দ্ৰপ্ৰসাদ শইকীয়া অাদিৰ দৰে লেখকৰ গল্পই, সেই পৰিসীমাত অান লেখকৰ প্ৰবেশ অাছিল খুবেই কষ্টকৰ ৷ সৌৰভ কুমাৰ চলিহাক অনুকৰণ কৰি তেতিয়া দুই একে লেখিবলৈ অাৰম্ভ কৰিছে, কিন্তু অনুকৰণে কাহানিও সন্মান লাভ নকৰে ৷ তেনে সময়তে 'মই এটা সাপ' গল্পৰ যোগেৰে কমলা বৰগোহাঁইৰ প্ৰবেশ, চমক অাৰু স্থায়িত্ব ৷ ভিনি ভিডি ভিচি ৷
